I’ve got a 2000 Honda Prelude, the power window on the driver side has stopped working, it has also stopped controlling the passenger side window, everything else works fine, ex. power mirror, power door locks, heated seats, stereo speakers, etc.
I was able to higher the window by applying 12volts directly to the power window motor, this tells me the motor and regulator are working fine.
I then began testing the power switch (female side) coming from the wiring harness (from the door jam), manual says I should have 2 positive wires, one that is “Hot”(F16 white/yellow wire) and the other one that only measures 12volts when the vehicle’s ignition switch is on the II position.(F19 green/white wire) I don’t have 12volts going to the green/white wire, ground wires all all fine.
Instead of fixing the “open wire” most likely located at the door jam would I be able to just jump F16 to F19?
