Power steering rack issues

2007 grand prix with 100000mi..Hit a pothole at abt 50mph and broke the mount bracket on pass side of rack and had to replace the rack..Ok the new (remanufactured)rack lasted appx 2 months and it broke at the exact same place,the mount bracket..So i took it back and got another cordone brand remanufactured rack and installed it along with new shock and spring..And IT has now broken yea you guessed it.At the exact same place the right mount bracket..So please can you shed some light on my situation..What could be causing this breakage..Thx Doob

Sounds like the frame/subframe mounting point where the rack attaches is bent.

Yea probly.but the attachment bolts line up ok…may need a subframe huh?
