i had the same problem about a year ago. turns out it was just a busted o-ring on the hose going going from the reservoir to the pump and air was getting into the system from there. repair cost me around $3 not including the new fluid. if you don’t mind losing some fluid and then adding/bleeding again, it might be a good place to start.

that sounds like a great place to start. Where did you get your new o-ring?

i got the o-rings directly from the dealer.
i have also used this site for honda parts – http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/

            good luck!

That happen to my friend 05 accord v6. It was a bad seal /oring cost only like $2 from honda and then bleed out the system and air then no noise.

+1 on checking the ‘o’ ring but it’s paramount that you only use Honda fluid in that system as using other fluids could damage the system.

Yup, ALWAYS use OEM parts and fluid in Hondas and any other car when possible.
Good luck and please keep us updated.
