power steering noise when turning the steering wheel

Jack the front of the car up and turn the steerin wheel lock to lock with the power steering fluid cap off and the engine running a few times to bleed the air out._x000D_
Check for leaks too._x000D_

Torn boots on the steering rack caused my power steering fluid to leak. I would check that.

If I read you correctly the fluid was low, if that’s the case then top it off and let it run for a while to work any air out.

must be a grand prix thing because everyone I know that owns a GP (including my family) has noticed they tend to make an audible power steering noise especially when cold
