Hello,
I recently changed my Power Steering Fluid like how you did it in the video. I own a 2013 Subaru WRX STI. I drained it using another hose. I didn’t notice this prior to the change but when I start the engine the power steering fluid goes down as it is being circulated. Once the engine is off, it goes back into the resevoir to the proper amounts I should have with the MIN./MAX HOT and COLD in the system lines of the reservoir bottle. I don’t get any weird noises when I start the car or well driving it. No vibrations or anything when going lock to lock or well driving. It seems to feel decent.
I just worry of causing further damage to other components if I still have air in the system.
Is this normal on all cars or does this mean I still have air in the system?
Thanks Rob.
