I have a car I can do that stuff with now so filling requests like this is much easier however finding the time to work it into the schedule is another story. Your request is noted thank you.

It is a 1998 L’S non vtec. Do you undo the low pressure return hose?

As for fluid quantities, if you still have your owners manual there should be a section that shows the quantities of all your fluids.

I’m lazy so I just siphon the power steering fluid out 2 times a week apart. That gets it all new for me.

You’ll need 2 bottles. All you need do is remove the return line to the reservoir and run an extension from that into a container, run the engine till the system runs dry and then shut down ASAP, refill the system and you’re good to go. Of course use Honda fluid only.

Whatever fits, you might take a piece of the old hose with you, perhaps the one that goes form the pump to the reservoir. Sorry I don’t know the exact size off the top of my head.

what size should the extension be? not length but diameter. I’ll have to get that while I’m out, since I don’t have any supply of hose lying around the house.

I am sorry, I have another stupid question. The return line is the larger of the two lines going into the reservoir?

Never mind I found the return line.

Everthing went well. The size hose I had to use was a 1/4 ” but make sure you secure it with a ring clamp.
