power steering 2001 ford taurus

put a new pump on the car because the old one was not pumping now every time u turn the car off it blows most of the fluid out. so win u fire the thing back up the only way to power steering is to add more fluid till it is full then u have steering again.shut it off same thing over again.ANY IDEAS :unsure:

Sounds like it might be a faulty pump or something is hooked up wrong. If you’re sure everything is hooked up correctly, then I would suggest trying another pump.

well it was not a bad pump however it was a bad rac. how i dont know yet but that fixed the problem i am not the type to just change parts but on this one i did and well this time got it wright.
