The squeal noise is probably from the belt. check the belt for proper tension ( if too loose it will slip giving you a squealing noise ) also check the belt condition if worn it should be replaced. also check the fluid level in the p/s pump. are there any leaks noticed from the p/s pump or p/s hoses ? keep us updated.
The pump will also make noise if the wrong fluid was added to the system. ALWAYS use the proper fluid for the power steering system. 619DioFan is right, check the belt before looking at the pump.
if something is wrong with the pulley, sometimes you might see it kind of “shaking”, if you look at the accessories from side view (not facing the belt) you will see some sort of movement in the belt. that could happen say the pulley went bad and is wobbling on the shaft. BUT dont go for that right away, your tensioner going bad can make that happen as well. so just do some diagnosis work before you just throw a bunch of money into replacing whatever “seems” to be the problem.
I think checkng the belt condition and it’s tension would be a good place to start, it just so happens I have a video for you.
