Just finished installing both high pressure/return hoses on my 04 impala SS. Can anyone tell me the procedure to refilling the system with fluid back to normal operating condition please?

put fluid in and crank engine up. turn steering wheel all the way to the left and right several times to get air out of system. good luck

Am I suppose to bleed/flush the system as well or is it not necessary?

turning the wheel all the way left and right all the way will bleed the system that all necessary.

With the front wheels in the air, cycling the wheels from left to right a few times, before you start the engine, will expel most of the air from the system. There will still be some air in it, but it should naturally bleed out rather easy once the system is pressured and the wheels cycled.
