      Replaced my power steering pump and the steering is good everything seems to be ok but now there is like a tapping sound not sure if its coming from the tension or the pump pulley I pressed the pulley in as much as it could go without stripping the threads on my tool. The belt does not seem to be really straight but I don’t want break it.

        Make extra sure you have the pump and bracket bolted on properly.

            Alignment is important so make sure it lines up correctly or you may end up damaging the belt.
