Anybody have any thoughts or experience with both of these? I know Power Probe has been around forever and is loved by many, but the Pulsar is supposed to be able to have higher circuit breaker settings (up to like 60 amp). I am a dedicated DIYer looking for an electrical diagnostic tool to compliment my Craftsman DMM.

Not familiar with pulsar but I do love my pp3. What exactly are you going to use it for? The only caveat I can offer is to be careful with either and know what you’re about to apply power to, both tools can let that very expensive smoke to escape and cause headaches. I’d read all you can, you could probably download pdf versions of each tools manuals to check out features of each and see what appeals to you. I can sing praises to power probe all day but if the features don’t benefit you like they do me, then I’m just the idiot who talked you into spending money lol.
