So I am putting in new pads and fluid on my other car. Race pads and fluid since I am taking it to the race track in a couple week (first time  ) I bought the motive power bleeder so I can do it myself after I found out the shop I like uses the same tool haha

      Anyway, few simple questions.

When pressing back in the pistons, should I open the bleeder? I don’t have anything to crimp the rubber line so would that be a problem introducing a lot of air?

When bleeding will it be obvious when the new fluid is present? Car is 2 years, 25k miles right now so the fluid it has is in decent shape, but I need to put in the high temp track fluid and they are the same color.

When resetting the caliper pistons. open the bleeder. Then when reset
close the bleeder. after two years you should see a fluid color change.
If not either suck out the mc with an old turkey baster or run the master
down but not dry. Then run the new fluid through. This video will help you
        change the brake fluid.
