The audi 100 that i have, has alot of wires that are not stock!!! The ignition is basically hot wired, and its push button start! There is a wire from the battery to the button and to the starter motor on it…the car came with an open title from years ago…what should i do at this point…I have not tried to regester it yet because it has the fuel issue with it…Please give your opinion and i can post some pics if needed of the rigging

Doubtful. Open title, if you’re using it correctly, means that the seller of the vehicle signed the sale portion of the title but the purchaser side is left blank. So long as VINs all match up and the pink slip is legit, then you’re just looking at some kid’s hack-job.
Not sure where you live, but in most cases you don’t have to register the vehicle to try to transfer the title to your name. This would eliminate any question.
