Possibly over-charged a/c

What are the symptoms/standing pressures of an over-charged a/c system? It is working, but not well, and I think it may be over charged. Thanks.

if the system is overcharged or has moisture in the system then both your low and high side gauge pressures will be high.

if there’s simply way too much stuff in there then you’ll probably notice leaks around your line fittings and Schroeder valves as well.

Standing pressures will be normal if overcharged. Higher than normal high side pressure with the engine running and a noisy compressor as well as poor cooling are two symptoms.
