Good evening Eric!
I thought about something I would be interested in hearing from you having all of the experience in doing things right and working in the automotive industry for so long. Easy tells. Let me explain: I was told that a bad sensor could be easily diagnosed by clearing the code and seeing if it comes back right away. I do not know if it is true or not but is it true? What are other easy ways to diagnose something very easily for the DIY person in their garage? I know there are a lot of them out there for many different applications but I want to know fast ones that anyone can do. Let me know your thoughts. Thank you.

Thanks for the suggestion Chris. To be honest, there really are no easy fixes. There might be easy and effective ways of diagnosing something, on certain vehicles, under certain conditions, but it often doesn’t work on many different makes and models. What might work for one manufacturer, might not work for another.
Also, I feel a video like this would send the wrong message. If you want to be sure about something, you really should put the time in to ‘properly’ diagnose it.
I have done several videos on general diagnosis, I did a series on electrical, finding noises, and engine performance, but nothing like what you’re suggesting, more the general procedures I follow when diagnosing those problems. I’ll think on this to see if I can come up with something but I wouldn’t expect anything anytime soon.

Well I am glad you looked into the idea. I know one car to another can almost be apples to oranges in cases but I was hoping something like common simple diagnostic procedures that can tell you quickly what the issue might be. You are right though it is hard to tell. Just thought maybe you knew of some you could throw our way. Again thank you for all you do Eric it is truly admirable.
