Possible Transmission Problem?

Car: 2004 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Automatic, 4.6 Liter
Mileage:114,500

Ive noticed for about a month now I may be having a transmission problem. Hopefully someone can give me some info on what it may be and advice about repairs.

Problem: Happens more noticeable in the transition from 3rd to 4th gear in my automatic transmission that the car sort of trembles which is also heard. More or less trembling as if you drive over the rumble strips on the side of the freeway. It only last for about a second when almost switching from 3rd to 4th gear. At first I thoufht it may be a motor mount or transition mount since I havent replaced since I bought the car in 2008. Please let me know what yall think. And of any shops you may know of in California preferable in the San Joaquin county area if possible that yall would recommend. Thanks.

Does it grind at all on the transition of the 3-4 shift? Is this the only time it happens or is it noticeable in other gears aswell? Will it do it on both accel and decel?

More or less its from what I can tell its not a grind, it trembles to be as accurate as possible. And I do feel it do the same at times from 2 to 3rd but the most noticeable is right before the automatic transmission is about to shift from 3rd to 4th. Does not happen on decel only when I accel.

I didn’t see any TSB’s for an automatic transmission (4R75W) for your vehicle.

You appear to be experiencing a problem shifting from direct drive (3rd Gear / unbanded) to overdrive (4th gear/ banded).

I wonder if you might be going down this road…..
