Popping sound

I replaced front and rear struts, on a 2005 sonata, problem I have that the driver side rear strut pop’s. I have rechecked and retightened mounting hardware. It pop’s on braking or stopping and making a turn. What else can I check to see what is making the popping sound. Thank you

the ends of the springs actually have a small detent in which it needs to be placed… make sure your springs are seated correctly.

Checked and springs are seated properly. Any other suggestion are welcomed. Thank you.

Maybe a loose brake pad.

It could be an issue with the upper strut mount. Not sure if you have a bearing plate at the top of the strut on that vehicle but if you do this could be the issue. More information here.
