Can I just plug both ends underneath coming from engine and the ends going to rear heater. Is there something to plug under the hood to?

If you’re trying to bypass a heater core, you’re better off patching the supply and return hoses together, to complete the circuit, as opposed to simply capping them off individually. Fluids are usually much happier completing a loop, rather then reaching a dead end.

+1 I think it would be much better to loop them rather than blocking them off. Usually the right piece of metal tubing and a couple of hose clamps does the trick. Also, consider going as close to the engine as possible with the bypass. This way you eliminate the chance of leaks and also use less coolant.
