Hey everyone…I need help, I have a 95 civic with a 98 b18b1 swap its been running great, one day I got in she started up with no problem ran fine, I stopped at the gas station filled her up and she wouldn’t start. The motor is rotating starter engaging battery strong. I’ve replaced the tps, fuel pump, map sensor, main relay, fpr, new plugs, fuel filter, throttle body. Now it starts idles but struggles to stay running and when I press the throttle it just cuts off…I need advice anything I’m at a dead end… Thank you.

You have a CEL; pull the codes and get back to us.

Other diagnostics will include observation of PID data via a scan tool: short & long term fuel trim, MAP/MAF, IAT, ECT and O2.

I had a similar problem with my Kia, seemed like a fuel issue so I replaced pump and injectors and it made no difference, still same weak idle and would die if I hit the gas (or even turned on an accessory, the load from the alternator was enough to stall it).
Ended up being a bad ignition coil. The CEL never came on either, ECU didn’t see a problem I guess.

Given that it’s not starting, I’d suggest checking this article out before you replace anymore parts.
