Hey guys, I’m very new to the “auto world”, and I know very little about cars, have been learning from other people for a while(especially from Eric – I really appreciate your contribution and wanna thank you from the bottom of my heart). Here’s my problem, I have a 2003 Nissan Sentra GXE, it’s been acting up lately after the maintenance service at Nissan dealer(crankshaft seal leaking founded which we fixed after the first break-down), it has broken down in the middle of the street twice, the first time, the car was smoking under the hood, then we checked and found out that the thermostat failed, so we replaced it with a new one, and my friend also helped replace the bad crankshaft seal after that. Then I drove my car for a test on highway, then it broke down again after 30 minutes (or some thing like that), and no smoke this time, one more thing is that the temp indicator pointed in the middle which means(I suppose) the engine was not overheating, and the car started again after 5 or 10 minutes. Could you guys please take a few minutes to help me, any ideas are much appreciated. Thank you very much!
