Those transmissions are known for failure and in my experience just about every one of them does at some point, in fact I’m rebuilding the one in my 2001 Odyssey tomorrow.

Trust me after 3 days of attempting to rebuild my Odyssey transmission you should save up for a reman, not salvage, reman.
