I saw i ratchet the other day that kept spinning regardless of the handels direction of travel

Instead of only locking in one direction it locked in both but no motion was wasted, handle left or right, both were used to unscrew (or screw in) the bolt.

WHAT THE H#LL IS IT CALLED?? Ive been looking for hours and still come up empty!

You mean, as it was ratcheting back to reset your swing, it would also work to screw in a bolt?

YES! EXACTLY! How cool is that!?

I think I briefly saw an infomercial or something for it and was like hmm gonna amazon that later…. and I just cant find it because I have no idea what it would be called… tried “one way ratchet” but I can’t think of other names that make sense..

very similar.. except rather than twisting handle its just like a regular ratchet — but righty tighty lefty tighty, or flip it and left and right both loosey

Double drive… off to google that

              EDIT:

hmm… not quite but still neat

I saw that ratchet at Autozone. I think it’s made by Duralast. It makes no sense that you can pull on a handle to one direction but have the torque going the opposite way.

called the dual speed. Kobalt from lowes and Duralast from autozone
