What vehicle are you working on?

Are you working on the engine out of the vehicle or is it still installed?

How did you diagnose the issue to be ‘stuck’ piston and oil control rings?

I suppose you could swap the engine. Then you wouldn’t have to take it apart. 🙂

That’s absolutely untrue. There’s no ‘piston ring in a can’ man. If you are loosing oil that badly due to blow-by, there is nothing to do but replace the engine or drive it until it explodes and then replace the engine.

only fix is to replace engine or rebuild it. Just because you have oil in two cylinders doesn’t mean it’s the rings though.

                    +1

How many miles are on the vehicle? And again, how do you know you have a piston ring issue?

Any type of internal engine issue would require a rebuild.

Do you have oil building up on top of 2 of your pistons due to leakage?

                    I’m really confused.

” drive it until it explodes ” Man , your killing me ! Sorry , but had to laugh there.

Yep, replace the engine, it will be way cheaper and more effective than trying to rebuild it yourself, as stated there is no ‘engine rebuild in a can’ if there was I would be out of a job. S:)
