Performance exhaust for 2003 Malibu 3.1 v6

I am wondering if anyone knows of a company that sells a cat-back exhaust for a 2003 Chevy Malibu with a 3.1 V6. Also I don’t want a stock replacement.

I don’t think any company sells a bolt-on cat-back exhaust for your N-Body Malibu.

The most restrictive part of your exhaust system is either the manifolds or the downpipe, not the cat-back section. I would recommend having a downpipe made or buying headers for the car. Since your car shares the same platform as Pontiac Grand Am’s and Oldsmobile Alero’s (Olds Cutlasses too, but I don’t count those 😛 ) look on the websites for those cars to see if anyone is selling a header setup or aftermarket downpipe and start there. I don’t recommend any of the eBay header systems because of the poor build quality and fitment. The OBX headers touch the cylinder head and the Pacesetter headers are just awful.
