Perhaps but I have to be honest and say that’s not really my thing. Personally I’m of the opinion that a car is transportation and as long as it performs that function who cares how it looks, in fact for me it’s better than a security system, if it’s not a ‘nice’ car no one pays attention to it and when the run away shopping cart bangs into it so what. Of course there are cars that are worth the effort, I’ve maybe owned 1 in my life and my girlfriend at the time wrecked it, twice. That said the Subaru might be good for practice but it’s pretty low on my list of things to do to that car.

If I do something with body work I would probably consult an expert and use them and their skills in a video rather than doing the work myself, body work is a whole different discipline from auto repair and I’ll admit I’m no expert when it comes to body repair.

Me either. I have done some light work, ie rust repair, a few paintless dent repairs, some light bondo and rattle can touch ups and some plastic welding but nothing professional.
