The code stands for “Engine oil pressure sensor circuit high voltage”

I’ve found this code on quite a few GM cars over the last year and I get shot down every time I try to sell the diagnosis labor on it. I found it again today in a Chevy Impala, but also came with P0522 which is circuit low voltage for the same sensor. I got shot down yet again but I’m still wondering what the common fix is for the code if there is one. Anybody?

see if this helps. if the vehicle exhibits no ticking/noise on start up Pull the wiring connector
and check for oil on the connector or on the EOP sensor if seen replace the sensor. if oil
is not seen check the wiring. If no wiring issues found replace the sensor.
