P0496 code directly after cleaning throttle body

Hello,

So as the title can tell you, I spent the afternoon with my Saturn ion 06 to clean the throttle body and the MAF sensor. Directly after installing everything back I got P0496 (High Purge Valve pressure), I thought it is because I prayed that throttle body cleaner inside the engine which explain the high pressure at the valve. anyway, I cleaned the code but it came back one. It been over a month now and the code is still one.

My question is: did I harm the purge valve by spraying too much cleaner inside the throttle body? BTW, I changed the purge valve before I clean the throttle body by a month, and I am sure I installed it right and drove on it for over 2 months.
Could it be the vapor canister or other elements in the vapor system?

Alright, I changed the purge solenoid valve and it been 5 days now and the check engine light did not go on. Autozone replaced the valve for me under the warranty. It took me 15 minutes to take it out and 5 minutes to reinstall it in the dark using a hand light in Autozone parking lot at 32 F. So, it is pretty easy task to do if you are worried, do not.

Lesson learned, do not spray too much throttle body cleaner cause it will damage your purge valve. make sure you leave the throttle body after cleaning it for the cleaner to evaporate. (learned the hard way)
