      Hello,

Ordered a new catalytic converter from Honda (OEM part # 18150-POA-L12), only to find the catalytic converter coming off the car had threads for the rear O2 sensor on the converter itself (there is a cutaway portion on the new converter, but no threads). I’m at a loss for where to look for a OEM replacement with this.

It looks like this is the case for a lot of universal fit catalytic converters. I should be able to install the O2 sensor in the original intended position correct?

I’m not sure where on my F22B2 engine the rear sensor should go, ideally I’d have a mid pipe like a F22B5 and i could just plug in there.

Could it be, that they gave you the wrong part ? Sometimes equipment in cars change within a year, like >9/98 or <10/98….. could be they just found the wrong part when looking it up.

So what your saying is the new cat does not have the o2 sensor bung where the previous did? Did the Honda dealer enter your vin to ensure correct part order? Jw
