P0340 Volvo V40

Hello, everyone. My car is Volvo V40 2.0litre turbo engine B4204T. I have problem with P0340 code (Cam possition sensor circuit malfuncion). Things what i did:
1 Checked Signal cables from ECU, it has 5Volts (Acording manual there should be around 5Volts
2. Checked Ground cable from ecu side 0 oms, that mean circuit is good
3. Cecked sensor. 1 and 3 has resistance, but 2 wire open circuit.

I had replaced sensor with used unit, but no difference. Now I have old one in hands there all terminals showing open circuit.
When I clear codes start engine no CEl, but when I start again soon after I ged P0340 again.

What i did wrong? where is problem?

Remove the sensor, make sure that the trigger for the sensor rotates when the engine is turning.

And if not i need new triger?

Well, you need to find out why it’s not turning. There are two small tangs on the trigger that mate into the exhaust camshaft. These tangs can break off, causing the symptom of a failed camshaft sensor – because the sensor is not seeing the trigger.
