P0335 Crankshaft position sensor code

I checked my 98 BMW 328i and it has a few codes. Two of them my code reader doesn’t recognize but it does say that I have code p0335 and p0412. On obd-codes.com, it says to check the RPM reading (on code p0335) with scan tool. The only electrical tools I have is a scan tool and a multimeter. How can I fix these issues?
