over heating issues

      Do you hear the fan going when it gets hot? It should sound kind of wheezy when the fan is fully engaged._x000D_

      Did you try to bleed all the air out of the system? Does the heater put out hot air? The system builds pressure?_x000D_

      With the cap off of the surge

          You are correct, the truck did come with dex cool ._x000D_
          Early on within 2 years I drained out the dex and replaced the coolant with the good old green stuff,

                Well the have inspected the radiator and shot it with a heat gun.

                  To me it seems like the radiator does not have flow._x000D_
                  thats a big temp difference from engine to radiator._x000D_
                  T-stat or radiator?

                    sounds like a flow issue in the cooling system to me. but then again where are they pointing the temp gun? some spots will be hotter then others. this could also point to a vacuum leak on the drivers side. i think at this point we are all at a guess! over

                      Service center verified both cats were in fact not plugged and are baffled is to why they truck runs hot under load._x000D_
                      the temp gun was aimed at the coolant
