Do you hear the fan going when it gets hot? It should sound kind of wheezy when the fan is fully engaged._x000D_

Did you try to bleed all the air out of the system? Does the heater put out hot air? The system builds pressure?_x000D_

How much resistance should the fan clutch when hot and cold. It seams to be working fine because the truck runs at 190 when not towing camper._x000D_

July 11, 2012 at 11:00 am #463038a tranny cooler would be nothing more then a “band aid” in a situation like this. the lowest rated 2002 chevy 1500 was rated at 7,000lbs you are within that and should not have a issue pulling 7,000 or even much more in my personal experiance. i

rejecting heat. you seem to have flow because the heater core is acting as_x000D_
a radiator when turned on. drain some coolant down in the radiator and look_x000D_
