Hiya,
What about a forum where any non car people who are tradesmen can offer advice in their field.
For instance, I am a Swimming pool repairman who also handles Hot tubs, steam rooms etc so any questions on that sort of stuff, people could post a question up for me to answer or think about…
Any mileage in the idea?

An interesting idea however I feel it would dilute the purpose of the site which is stated “This is were you go if you’re broke and your ride is also broke”.
Although it’s a good idea in substance I don’t think it would work as well in practice. I appreciate the suggestion however.

Hi Eric,
You’re the boss! I only suggested it as its one way I felt I could return the favour to people for any good advice I’ll get. I will try to chip in on car tech but not being a certified mechanic, I’m fairly hesitant about treading in an area that’s out of my expertise.
I also thought it might generate more traffic for you as I presume you get revenue from advertising on the site and views etc. I will leave it as people can feel free to message me if they want and I will try to help
I think that is a ‘perfect’ solution. I like your philosophy of creating a community of professionals that can help people looking for it but I’d like to keep this site focused on auto repair. If you’re interested in helping with the site, tell your friends, the more visitors the better.
