It is a friend’s car (thank God).
Anyways she had opened the sunroof and last night could not get it to slide forward.
We tried the “hold switch and push sunroof” method with no luck. The thing does move forward and back about two inches.Well she got the brilliant idea to stand on the door jamb and try to force it shut. So now it is slightly crooked. We got it slightly uncrooked… Guess I should have said, “Katie, don’t do that!”
I suggested just putting some plastic over the whole thing til she could get it fixed or at least closed (forecast called for rain last night). She said that would look stupid and had a better idea – she would have her umbrella sticking out the top of the car. (face palm) I love her.ANYways – So with these grand am’s or other GM sunroofs that have similar problems (common) what are the options for at least getting it to at least close?
