Advice on opening own shop. What I need to start? Eric how did you start out working for your self?

My question to you is how long have you worked in the field? What certifications do you have that will draw in customers?

I would like to open my own shop also in about 5 to 10 years but being an owner comes ALLOT of responsibility such as insurance (business liability for one), FEIN registration/number, local permits and licenses, bonded to permit to do that type of work in your area, know about accounting services….and the list goes on.

I would start with the BBB and see if they can give you a few leads to talk to as well as the chamber or commerce in your local area again for help.
