I know I’m going to be replacing the spark plugs on this truck so I was washing away some of the dirt from the front of the engine compartment. I tried not to get water on the engine itself but I guess I must have got some on it. Now I’ve got a misfire/stutter. Mostly on acceleration not too bad at idle.I hoped it would clear up by itself but I’ve driven it for a day and it still has the miss.
I’m guessing it’s an ignition related problem so I thought I’d do the “power drop test”, remove one of the connectors to the ‘coil over plug’ packs at a time and see which one isn’t working, but it’s not all that easy to get to them, especially the rear ones. Does anyone have any good ideas as to what I should try? 🙁
Thanks in advance,
Gord
