I am having some trouble finding info on my friend’s 1985 Mercedes Benz 300cd. The AutoZone site doesn’t have info on any Mercs, and I haven’t found much on YouTube either. Any help would be appreciated.

Will it tell me how to get access to the CPS to replace it?

Also when i investigated teh CEL this summer doing the oil i noticed what appeared to be a Vacuum line came disconnected from the throttle body unfortunately this did not fix the CEL but im just carious as to what this vacuum line does i didnt seem to effect the car any i never new it was off until i opened the hood.

For the vacuum line, you need to find a vacuum diagram.

can a vacuum line leak or in this case falling off turn the CEL on?

“Unfortunately, we do not have a repair guide for your 2001 Daewoo Lanos 1.6L MFI DOHC 4cyl” however they do have a CPS

they also tell me the spark plug gap the firing order and other vary useful specs.

I was able to find this for a Daewoo. I don’t think $8 is too much to ask for it.
