Hello everyone!
First of all, sorry if my english isn’t the best, but spanish is my main language (I’m writing from Chile). I’ll try my best to make myself clear.
I have a ’03 Chrysler PT Cruiser, 2.4L 4-cylinder non-turbo, 135K miles. Some time ago (couple weeks), my oil pressure light started coming on from time to time, then it started to come on every time the car was on idle (it´s a manual transmission, so every time I press the clutch an let the revs go 800 rpm or below, the light came on). Oil level was kinda low (on the min mark), so I changed the oil and filter since it had like 4500 miles since last change (on full synthetic oil), but the problem is still there, oil level’s at the top of max now. The light comes off immediately when i give it some gas, then when the revs go down again, the light comes on again.
Any clues? Thanks in advance.
