i guess this Q would be directed to eric mostly. But others can chime in if you know the answer lol. not too sure how much work u have had to do on a crx si, but for me i have to change out the oil pan gasket.

now i havent done this before, so i need to know how hard it is to do and what kinds of things do i need to look out for? my buddy said you have to remove the engine mount to lower it and get in there properly to bolt it up.

also should i get gasket sealant from honda?

sorry i’m a bit of a newb, and i am kinda going off your transmission fluid and filter vid. seeing that you had to fix the pan a lil bit.

      thanx guys (and eric)

It’s not that bad. You don’t need to do anything with the engine mounts but you do need to drop the exhaust to get clearance. DON’T goop the gasket, a couple of dabs of sealant on the corners of where the gasket meets the block is fine, don’t glue the gasket to anything. Also I know this is a transmission pan but I use this same method on oil pan gaskets.
