I’m about to change the oil pan gasket on my truck and was wondering which is better the Cork or Molded Rubber?

Either will do the job providing you have clean surfaces (block and pan) for the gasket to seal against.
Cross pattern tighten the bolts and do not over tighten.

I prefer rubber personally as cork asorbs oil over time but both work. Just comes down to personal preference really.

Replace it with whatever came on it. If it’s a newer vehicle, there probably isn’t even a physical gasket.

FYI… CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN IT !!!!!!
most of the time I see ppl messing it up is they dont clean it very well… just do a basic wipe and put the new one on and see it leak all over the place
now lest look what cork really is… corck beeds smawich inbetween tar… now cork is a lot better at sealing then rubber but can brake easyer…
wheh I think is the better is I have see some plastic gaskets that have rubber on bothe uper and lower sides… so they are high resistance from braking or tering and are good sealers because basic rubber you can over titen and deform the gasket making it leak over time… so I think they are better but cost more and are hard to find… sometimes only the dealer has them… but dont think you might have to pay like $50-$70 for that gasket only one better I thing is the head gaskets
