The problems just keep coming with my mom’s 2002 CRV. My brother installed a new head and now the oil warning light is on and won’t go off. He did an oil change right before starting the CRV for the first time since installing the head so it has the adequate amount of oil in the engine. He sent me a pic of the oil pressure sending unit/switch and it’s broken into 2 pieces. To me that sounds like the reason why the light is on, but I’m no mechanic. What do you guys think?

yup. pretty sure its just a simple switch for the oil pressure light. if the circuit is broken the light will illuminate. it has to get fixed anyway

If the oil sending unit is broken. Thats suspect
          enough for replacement.
