oil light wont come on KOEO

94 acura integra b18b1/gsr head

when I turn the key to the start position all the lights on the dash light up except the oil light. I checked pin d11, yel/red wir,e which supplies power to the oil light behind the dash, it has power. The oil pressure switch is getting power, if I give the switch a ground the oil light lights I checked to see if the integrated control unit is getting power on the yel/red wire, it has power. The ICU houses a rear window defrogger timer circuit, intermittent wiper relay circuit and, engine oil pressure flasher circuit. I replaced the oil pressure switch with no success. I tested the old switch whole it was out and it was okay. Any further testing inputs would be great.

As you tested with sucess manually grounding, my guess would be whereever the cluster is pulling ground for that may have an issue.

I haven’t checked any further since a new electrical problem has risen so i’ll be making a new post.
