So i recently did a oil change to my car. I had a nasty oil leak at that time and i checked my oil sending unit and the connector was full of oil and when i stuck a pin inside of the unit it started to have oil bubble out the top. I replaced the oil sending unit and the oil filter, changed the oil and 2 weeks later i have another leak. It is dripping in the same place as last time which is onto the exhaust right under the oil filter area. It is not leaking from the valve cover and since my car is not a EX i do not have a oil cooler down there. What could be leaking?

Recheck the sending unit. It could be leaking again.

is there anything else it could be then the oil sending unit? Its not showing signs of leaking. Could it be the oil filter is defected? Is there any other place there other then the valve cover that it can leak from? Is it possible that there is a crack where the oil filter screws on? The car does not leak when the engine is off.

Sure, it could be a defective oil filter. You’re gonna have to clean the oil from around the area and start the engine and watch to see where the oil is leaking from.

Just be sure to do it safely. That means axle stands and blocked wheels.
