Hi, I have a 1990 vn commodore. I am currently converting it to manual.I pulled the engine ans manual gearbox out of the donor car and it started leaking oil. It never used to leak oil. The oil leak I THINK is coming from the back of the oil pan, near the transmission. I pulled the oil pan off the engine and the gasket didnt look that bad, I broke it getting it off tho… Do you think the oil leak is coming from the oil pan on the engine? also it leaks A LOT of oil. It drips pretty fast. Its just funny that this happens as soon as the engine comes out.
Also I acedently spilt oil in the transmission where the fly wheel and clutch is. Will that affect anything? Thanks.
