      I had my oil changed at the regular time and then I did my self and I put in synthetic blend 5/30 and no problems with it I think it run a lot better but I was at church last night and two people told me that it smell’s like im burning oil so when I got home I checked all my levels and all was good why would it be smiling like burnt oil im not liking and iv been driving it for like 1-2 weeks and no leaks

        If the levels were the same, I doubt you were burning oil… Whats your car? We can’t tell you the correct oil for the vehicle, if we don’t know what it is…

          If you have a tiny leak but the droplets fall on the exhaust manifold or exhaust it can smell like a giant oil fire. Also, if falling on hot parts the oil may leave little visible residue.

              I agree with this assessment. My ’93 Subaru had the same issue. Oil leaking from corner of Head was dripping onto Exhaust Manifold.

                Get under yer rig and look for black or “stained” spots on your exhaust system. Yer rig might not be leaking , but might be seeping just enough oil to cause a drop or two to hit the hot exhaust. If its only a drop or two ever couple days, you wont notice the “leak” on a dipstick in just a week.
