      Hi all,
My son’s 99 Camry LE V6 with 120k miles needs a new CV joint. Should we go OEM –and if so what supplier/website do you recommend? I’ve got an Accord so I’m new to the Toyota parts space.

      Thanks

In my opinion OEM is always the best option if you can afford it. Theirs nothing like what originally came on the vehicle. However I have replaced many CV axles from the aftermarket with little to no comebacks.

I’ve.had 2 issues with aftermarket axles, but I’ve installed over 200 of them. The only issues were in regards to the wrong part being given. No biggie. I would say get it locally, that way warranty issues are way faster to take care of. The average price for an axle in most areas is $65.
