I have a 2003 Odyssey and noticed that I was having some uneven wear on the front driver’s side wheel. When I checked I noticed that the power steering rack (or gearbox) moved when I moved the wheel. Most obviously when holding the wheel at 9 and 3 and pushing/pulling it in and out. The power steering rack doesn’t seem to be leaking, it appears to be the bushings in the power steering rack that have deteriorated making it loose. I know that it is a major job to replace the power steering rack. Has anyone tried to replace these bushing and can you do it without removing the power steering rack. Thanks in advance for your help. Brian.
