      Hello guys,
Im new to this forum but Im a fan to ericthecarguy been watching his video for awhile now. Cutting the chase I have an issue and I already did many things to fix issue. I have a 2001 chevy cavalier 4 dr that i recently got off a friend. It had problems before I received it blown head gasket and he was running water for awhile in it so you know what that causes. I fixed the whole head gasket problem cleaned out the corrosion and rust as much as i could possibly could reach. I also replaced the water radiator and hoses to reduce amount of corrosion build up in the line. I been using 50/50 mix watched erics video on getting the air bubbles out of the system that few times to make sure. The car still continues to heat up but not to a serious point until now. Any suggestions on what i can do cuz this is a good daily car and i want to get back to running well. Sorry for the long message more Info easier for you guys not to ask me questions.

You might consider a pressure check on the system. With all the work you did it’s possible there could be a leak when the system is under pressure which could be letting air back into the system. I good indicator is if you hear a noise behind the dash that sounds like a water fall which could indicate air in the heater core.

Then I would bleed the system again with a spill free funnel to make sure all the air is out of the system.

Yes I replaced the thermostat when I did the head gasket and the fan does kick on around 210. Pressure test I have not attempt that but now Ill get on that. Ill return with results.
