OBD2 codes and your recommedations

Vehicle: 99 Mitsubishi Eclipse 245K miles – orig trans – auto

I keep getting OBD2 codes P0700 (Transmission Control System Malfunction) and P1776 and have to clear the codes with my code reader. In Apr 2014 I replaced the ATF.

What do you recommend I do?

I am on a tight budget and so installing a remanufactured transmission is pretty much out of the question. Auto Zone sells it for around $1500 before shipping and tax. A local repair place sells used transmissions for $499 before installation.
