      2008 Chevy Impala, V6 3500 28k miles.
Check engine light po410 secondary air injection flow detected.
Replaced in 2010 when the car had 10,000 miles on it under warranty at no cost to me.
Code reappeared last week and mechanic replaced the unit, told me it was full of water.
Drove it a few days and check engine light came back on, erased the code with code scanner and came back on later in the day.
Took it back to him and he replaced it with another unit, a few hours later check engine light came back on with the same code.
I can’t get the car inspected and don’t know where to turn next.
From what I’ve been reading there has been issues at GM regarding this problem.
If its full of water, where is it coming from?
I have above average understanding of automobiles, but this issue is new to me.
Any comments would be greatly appreciated, thanks very much……

Can you explain to me how this system works?
Is there a difference between an air pump and the secondary air injection or is it the same?
This pump has a tube that goes into tje intake manifold, this is how the warm air gets in prior to a col start.
There is a tube that runs from the back of the firewall to a unit that is in the lower front of the car, just right of the radiator.
          Thanks…..
